Head Chef – Indian Restaurant

Bombay Social is recruiting an experienced Head Chef to lead its kitchen team in Munno Para West, Adelaide. Duties include preparing authentic Indian curries, sauces, marinades and gravies; overseeing tandoor cooking; developing menus; maintaining food quality and presentation; managing food costs and stock; training kitchen staff; and ensuring food safety and hygiene standards.

• Proven experience as an Indian Head Chef or senior Indian cuisine chef.
• Strong hands-on tandoor cooking experience, including naan, kebabs, chicken and lamb dishes.
• Expertise in Indian curries, sauces, marinades and gravies.
• Experience with menu development and contemporary food presentation.
• Ability to lead and train kitchen staff.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, stock control and cost management.
• Ability to manage a busy commercial kitchen.

• Annual salary of AUD $78,000–$85,000.
