Propulsion Test Engineer

The Exploration Company is recruiting a Propulsion Test Engineer to test and analyse propulsion systems for spacecraft. Responsibilities include developing and executing engine and component tests, preparing test plans, conducting safety risk assessments, analysing performance data, writing technical reports and coordinating with design and testing teams.

• Bachelor's, master's or PhD in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or a related field; a master's degree or higher is preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in propulsion testing or a related field.
• Knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics and propulsion chemistry.
• Hands-on engine-testing experience or equivalent.
• Experience with propulsion simulation tools such as CEA.
• Python programming and CAD software experience are advantages.
• Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
