Turbomachinery Lead Engineer

The Exploration Company is recruiting a Turbomachinery Lead Engineer to support the development of a high-thrust liquid rocket engine. The successful candidate will lead engineering activities for turbopumps and related infrastructure, manage and mentor engineers, oversee component testing, coordinate suppliers and help manage technical risks. The role is based in Bordeaux, France.

• Master's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• At least 10 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience leading space projects from early design through testing and hardware qualification.
• Strong knowledge of liquid-propellant rocket engines, thermodynamics and mechanical design.
• Experience working with external suppliers and manufacturing processes.
• Fluent English; German is an advantage.
